I wrote the piece below on March 16th 2020, just five days after the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus outbreak to be a global pandemic. We were all shocked and worried, and only just starting to realize just how serious the situation was.
The world is gripped by fear. Fear of contracting the coronavirus. Fear of dying.
People are panic buying because of the fear of not having enough to keep going during this crisis. Or perhaps the fear of starving if food supplies run out.
There’s also the fear of losing your way of earning a living…
