I completely agree with you — I have a much better day all round when I start the day with either meditation or yoga (I tend to do either one or the other). The main difference is that I’m able to cope much better with whatever the day throws at me. Like you, I also find it much easier to concentrate and I don’t tend to have food cravings. I’ve found that even 10 minutes of meditation or yoga at the beginning of a busy day can help enormously.
