I guess the answer is: minimalism can be for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor or somewhere in between, you can still embrace a minimalist lifestyle.

When you’re not wealthy, part of the reason for hanging onto things is fear — the fear that you might not be able to afford to replace that item in future, if you need it again. As we overcome our fears (very gradually!), we are able to let go of items we no longer need and face the future with confidence, no matter what it may hold. I know, it’s easier said that done but it’s a path worth pursuing!
