I’m always working on multiple goals. I write them down and write some small steps I can take this week towards achieving each goal. If I don’t take some of these steps, I just transfer them to the next week.
I find it’s easier if I can incorporate a goal into my daily or weekly routine. For example, I walk 3 miles every weekday morning taking my son to school and walking back. I go to a yoga class I enjoy every Thursday evening. Both those things are fixed parts of my daily and weekly routines, so I don’t even think about doing them.
I sometimes struggle with other goals as I find it hard to find the time to do the things I need to do. In those cases, blocking off an hour or two to do what needs to be done is useful. And, if you can block those hours off every week to focus on that goal, so much the better. All the best with achieving your goals!
