Thanks for recommending 'Goodbye, Things'. I'll check it out. It's true that you rarely miss things you get rid of. The only thing I have truly missed is a lovely warm Swedish jumper that I donated before I moved to Australia, thinking that I'd never need it again. Fast forward 3 years and I was unexpectedly back in the UK in the midst of one of the most bitterly cold winters in many years. I sadly missed my lovely warm jumper but it wasn't the end of the world - I bought others to replace it!
