Those are all great tips, Alyssa! I think pricing is one of the most difficult parts of freelancing.
With regard to the per-project rate, it’s a good idea to include the maximum number of rounds of revisions you’ll do in your terms and conditions. I say that I will make two rounds of revisions and, if any more are needed, there will be an extra cost. When I was new to freelancing, I didn’t do this and some clients asked for many rounds of revisions — and even several re-writes. This took me a lot of extra time, which I hadn’t factored into the original quote for the project.
