Thanks for a thought-provoking post! I think we all have times when we feel like we are just going through the motions and doing things we have to do rather than enjoying life and living it to the full. I used to feel guilty when I took time out for myself and I'm still working on this, but I remind myself that it's essential if I'm to carry on productively. As you say, there is so much more to life than constantly striving for perfection. The little things in life, the small pleasures, are really the most important things, the things that bring us true joy.
